Conclusion
As you can see throughout the earlier evidence a massive amount of money is spent on cancer research but what we are trying to conclude is whether cancer research is worth all the money being spent. Many improvements have been made due to the introduction into new technology and treatment improvements. All these improvements have been brought about by research. One of the main peice of evidence that proves that cancer research is really helping is that the survival rate for many common cancers has increased by more than 30 per cent in the past two decades. Another peice of good news is that more than half of the new cases of cancer diagnosed will be successfully treated. Research has also enabled cancer to be treated with vaccines like a recent breakthrough vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. This therefore shows that research has made a significant impact on the lives of patients with cancer.
